Traditional BLT sandwich (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato) from America
The BLT sandwich is the timeless classic of American cuisine and prepared with just a few fresh ingredients. The incredibly delicious sandwich consists of crispy bacon, crunchy lettuce and juicy tomatoes. The sandwich is topped off with toasted bread and creamy mayonnaise.

- 4 slices of toast
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 leaves iceberg lettuce
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tomatoes
- Fry the bacon in the pan. 
- Lightly toast the toast in the toaster and then spread with a little mayonnaise. 
- Cut the tomatoes into slices. 
- Place four slices of crispy bacon on one slice of toast. 
- Place three to four slices of tomato on top of the bacon. 
- Place two large lettuce leaves on top of the tomato slices. 
- Lastly, place the second slice of toast on top of the lettuce with the mayonnaise facing down. 
- Then cut the sandwich (fix with toothpicks and) diagonally in the middle to form two triangles and serve. 
- Stack your ingredients in the following order from bottom to top: Toast, mayo, bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayo, toastThis way the toast doesn't pull the liquid from the tomato and it stays nice and crispy.
