Selbstgemachte argentinisches Chimichurri verde

Chimichurri Argentino

Chimichurri is a condiment sauce originating from Argentina, prepared with fresh chopped herbs such as cilantro and parsley. Chimichurri sauce is perfect for summer barbecues or other South American recipes. In Argentina, the country of origin, Chimichurri is served at the barbecues Asadas.

The fresh Argentine seasoning sauce tastes best with poultry, fish, beef or pork. If possible, these should only be seasoned with salt and pepper beforehand, in order to let the strong flavor of the sauce take effect. It is also possible to prepare your food with a Chimichurri marinade before grilling.

Unlike ready-made mixtures or sauces, we use fresh spices and herbs for our chimichurri. We do not use a chimichurri spice mix here. It is also important to know that the Argentine sauce is served cold with the meat.

Do you want to make your own chimichurri? Then you’ve come to the right place. In a few steps I will help you with the preparation of chimichurri. Useful information, tips and tricks for the recipe are as always at the end of the post.
